Manufactured from chemically inert 100 per cent virgin glass, the pearls have been independently laboratory tested for leeching contaminants
SAFE & SMOOTH
Free from sharp edges, the pearls’ spherical shape is safe to handle and service and, if the filter’s laterals ever fail and the media flows into the pool, the beads pose no risk of injury to swimmers
SAVES WATER
The smooth shape reduces friction, which then reduces backwash requirements . Glass Pearls required 215 litres to successfully backwash a Waterco S600 Media Filter, whereas sand required 266 litres.
TIME SAVING
Easy installation enables a rapid start-up of the media filter. High purity requires very little backwashing to cleanse the Glass Pearls Media prior to commissioning the filter
