A customer came in store to our shop at 202 Nicholson Road in Subiaco and wanted to purchase a Waterco S600 sand filter as they had one for over 15 years and liked the way Waterco manufactures their tanks.

The Micron tank consists of an inner shell of fibreglass reinforced polyester resin wound over the fibreglass filament. The digital technology used by Waterco results in the controlled filament winding machine faultlessly winding continuous strands of a high quality fibreglass filament under controlled tension filament to create a seamless one-piece vessel with superior quality. There are no welds or seams.

This customer also chose to have glass instead of sand, and they chose Waterco’s crushed glass which is 100% recycled glass so it is environmentally friendly  and it does remove more particles than sand so it means saving in water for backwashing and gives finer filtration of the pool water.
