At the start of the swimming season perform your regular start-up procedures: 1. Check water levels. 2. Check all safety equipment around the pool area. 3. Clean baskets and skimmer boxes. 4. Take a water sample to your local pool shop for analysis and make any recommended adjustments. 5. Perform a backwash to clear any debris out of the filter 6. Check for the presence of phosphates and remove with Phosphate Remover as soon as possible. 7. Check salinity levels are correct (between 4000-5000ppm), refer to the Water Chemistry Parameters guide on Astral’s website to adjust, as needed.
