• An easy swap for Astral owners. If you already have an Astral cell housing, you’ll find the Echo an easy installation.
• Same cell as Halo and Viron. The Echo uses the same cell as Astral’s Halo and Viron chlorinators, so replacement cells are easy to get.
• Acid dosing needs a dosing pump. The Echo’s sensorless acid dosing works with a separate dosing pump, which isn’t included. Ask us and we’ll quote the two together.
• Choosing a size. In Perth’s warm summers, it’s worth choosing a size with some room to spare, especially if your pool gets a lot of sun or heavy use.

What Nicole finds interesting about this chlorinator range:

• Salt Indicator Ring and protection. Blue if in range and red if too high or low and it will stop the chlorinator chlorinating to protect the cell – this is useful to avoid damaging the cell when cells are so expensive now.
• Status Light on the badge. This pulses red when attention is needed making it easy for you to see and act.
• Cold Water Protect. Turns output down in cold water so the cell lasts longer, which saves money.
• Low and Boost modes. Low drops output to 10%. Handy with a pool cover on or over winter.
• Separate pump and chlorinator timers. You can run the pump for 10 hours but only chlorinate for 5, useful if you run the pump longer to heat the pool.

Will the Echo fit my existing Astral setup?

If you already have an Astral cell housing, you’ll find the Echo an easy installation. Send us a photo of your current chlorinator and plumbing and we can let you know what’s involved.

Does the Echo use the same cell as the Halo and Viron?

Yes. The Echo uses the same cell as Astral’s Halo and Viron systems, so replacement cells are easy to get.

Can the Echo control my pump, lights and heater?

Yes. It works with AstralPool variable speed pumps, Halo Lite pool lights, and heat pumps or gas heaters, so you can run them all from one touchscreen or the FluidraPool app.

Does the Echo dose acid?

Yes it can, if you buy the doser as well. It has sensorless acid dosing, which doses acid without needing a pH probe. A dosing pump is needed for this and is sold separately.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. The Echo has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you can check and adjust your pool through the FluidraPool app.

What size Echo do I need?

It depends on your pool size and how much sun and use it gets. The size table above is a good guide, or give us your pool measurements and we’ll recommend the right one.

What salt level does it need?

Astral recommends 4,000 ppm, and the Echo works between 3,000 and 8,000 ppm. We test salt levels for free in store.

What warranty does it come with?

The Echo comes with a 4 year warranty on the power pack and 3 years on the cell (electrode).
